I hand carved this piece on a linocut block, then rolled the block with a rich black ink and printed it on paper.
I was inspired to create this image based on a photo of dogwood blossoms I took while walking in my neighborhood. I embellished this piece with some pink blossoms scattered about!
Since linocut prints are individually printed, each is considered an original and there may be very slight differences in the way they look, giving them each their own unique character.
