It's Perfectly Imperfect

In recent years, I'm sure you have read more and more about the benefits of nature. There are huge positives to spending time outside, enjoying the fresh air and scenery nature provides.
It's the perfect environment, but not perfectly ordered. Have you ever carefully planted flowers that grow any which way, turn different colors than shown on the tag, or bloom like crazy (or not?) Me too!
Nature is perfectly imperfect. My pattern paintings seem to take on that rhythm as well. I generally don't make the patterns to too symmetrical - there's extra space here and there, like growing plants.
Above is a glimpse of one of my spring blossoms paintings. The warm colors brightened my day as we were waiting for spring to arrive. I hope they do the same for you.
